eating my way through the olive orchard to the artichokes by the light of the moon!!

HAHAHAHAH!!!! i love this little quilt…it was so much fun to produce…again, scraps o fabrics all cottons and batiks. in my stash was the zebra, the background and the batik for the night sky and moon(for which i used the reverse side!!!) and the rest of the fabs were on the free-for-all table…now the olives with pimentos were constructed by simply fussy cutting and adhering them to one another via a fusible web.

and the backing fabric is an oriental fabric with gold painted designs on it, of which you can see a bit in the wrap around binding. what a pleasure to have spent a day creating off the cuff quilts. great for the novice art quilter!

…and there is more…

so until next time…

fiber art, fiber fun, fiber feel…create!
